A hard line

Peptides, GLP-1s, and who the clinic is for

A medicine is not a kitchen ingredient. The clinic link is not for South Africa.

I get asked about weight medicines. I will be plain, because vague is how people get hurt.

LiveGood has a clinic for prescribed GLP-1 medicines — semaglutide and tirzepatide — offered as telehealth. It is for U.S. citizens. If you are not a U.S. citizen, do not use that link. I live in Cape Town. I cannot send you through it, and I cannot send myself through it. Speak to your own doctor.

Nothing on this page is medical advice. Nothing here is an offer to prescribe. My job on a pharmacy floor does not make me your clinician.

South African readers can stay with the journal, or take the free health report if a questionnaire is what you wanted. The clinic is a gate, not a dare, and not a way around the rules where you live.

When these are prescribed medicines, they are medicines. They do not belong in a sentence next to sea moss that pretends they are the same kind of thing. My kitchen is not a clinic.

If you are a U.S. citizen and you still want the official clinic page, it sits behind a confirmation on the clinic door. Read the warning before you tick it.
